My A-Z Theme is based on my books, the Game On series. You won’t need to have read them to follow this story, since it’s slightly removed from the full plot, like a side story. What it will do is give you a glimpse into my characters, and a chance to get to know them a little bit, PLUS, during the story, you will get a mini tour of parts of the UK! The posts will come from two of my main characters, Leah Walker and Radleigh McCoy. If this is your first time here, please start at the letter A. :D

E - Eternity
(Leah)
I could have let Radleigh get the train from London to
Zellor, but after flying all the way from L.A, the least I could do was drive
to London to collect him. Since he’d be staying for a while, we decided there
was no major rush to get back to Cornwall, so after my long drive and his long
flight, we were once again planning to spend another night in a London hotel
before driving back to Cornwall the next morning.
As I waited for Radleigh at the arrivals gate at Heathrow
Airport, my stomach bubbled with excitement. This was really happening. It
still hadn’t fully sunk in yet, and as he walked towards me, the grin spreading
across my face was almost obscene.
That was my guy. Him. That really tall guy with the huge
muscles, sexy eyes, and gorgeous smile.
Mine.
It wasn’t the first time I’d been struck by the realisation
that I got to take Radleigh McCoy home with me – and not just for the night –
forever. Well, hopefully. Eternity is a pretty long time to want to be with
someone, but as he approached me, I realised it would take that long for me to
get tired of looking at his face. Sure, we would argue sometimes – and we’d had
some pretty fiery conflicts in the past – but if there was one person I would
happily spend the rest of my life fighting with, it was him.

Sorry for the shortness of this one - it's the weekend lol!
Today's Game On teaser is:
Nice Eternity.
ReplyDeleteShort and sweet!
ReplyDeleteThat's how I felt about my wife. Yeah, she's really mine.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant. And I'm with Alex. That's how I feel when I see my husband walking towards me. It's been 17 years and I still feel that way.
ReplyDeleteI have that same feeling about my husband too. You did a great job of capturing that special feeling here!
ReplyDeleteDon't apologise - means I can read one other post before bed! :P
ReplyDeleteI loved this scene :)
You know it's meant to be when even fighting can sound romantic.
ReplyDeleteAw. That was so sweet. See, that's how I feel about my guy--and how every woman should feel about their guy. =)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Radleigh and Leah are forever. Totally! <3
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so in love with Radleigh and Leah!! I remember thinking one day that I'd only get to spend about 75 years with my husband and that made me sad...that seems so short!
ReplyDeleteGreat word.
ReplyDeleteAnd love this story. <3
