E is for Eternity

My A-Z Theme is based on my books, the Game On series. You won’t need to have read them to follow this story, since it’s slightly removed from the full plot, like a side story. What it will do is give you a glimpse into my characters, and a chance to get to know them a little bit, PLUS, during the story, you will get a mini tour of parts of the UK! The posts will come from two of my main characters, Leah Walker and Radleigh McCoy.  If this is your first time here, please start at the letter A. :D

E - Eternity
(Leah)

I could have let Radleigh get the train from London to Zellor, but after flying all the way from L.A, the least I could do was drive to London to collect him. Since he’d be staying for a while, we decided there was no major rush to get back to Cornwall, so after my long drive and his long flight, we were once again planning to spend another night in a London hotel before driving back to Cornwall the next morning.

As I waited for Radleigh at the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport, my stomach bubbled with excitement. This was really happening. It still hadn’t fully sunk in yet, and as he walked towards me, the grin spreading across my face was almost obscene.
That was my guy. Him. That really tall guy with the huge muscles, sexy eyes, and gorgeous smile.

Mine.

It wasn’t the first time I’d been struck by the realisation that I got to take Radleigh McCoy home with me – and not just for the night – forever. Well, hopefully. Eternity is a pretty long time to want to be with someone, but as he approached me, I realised it would take that long for me to get tired of looking at his face. Sure, we would argue sometimes – and we’d had some pretty fiery conflicts in the past – but if there was one person I would happily spend the rest of my life fighting with, it was him.

  2. Brilliant. And I'm with Alex. That's how I feel when I see my husband walking towards me. It's been 17 years and I still feel that way.

  8. Oh, I am so in love with Radleigh and Leah!! I remember thinking one day that I'd only get to spend about 75 years with my husband and that made me sad...that seems so short!

IWSG: Books Sales

IWSG time! I'd like to start by thanking Alex J. Cavanaugh for this fab bloghop, and today in particular, it is just the motivation I need to get me blogging again! Today, I'm talking book sales. Now, I don't really know if there is any kind of "average" amount of books sales when you're an indie author. I don't know what is considered a good amount of book sales per month, or whether I am doing better or worse than others. What I do know, is that I am happy with the amount of books I've sold. I self-published because I want people to read my work - and people are reading it - yay! My concern is - what if the sales stop? I know after a time, everyone's book sales will slow down, but I have this fear that I'll check my sales every couple of weeks to find that nobody cares about reading my books anymore. The dreaded 0 will show on my Kindle sales, and I will plummet into a pit of despair. It hasn't happened yet, but Game On has onl...

GUTGAA Meet and Greet!

Oh, I have SO been looking forward to this!! But, before I start, I need to send a huge apology to Emily R.King and Melodie Wright. I signed up to their What I Did Last Summer Bloghop , but it looks like I'm not going to have the time to participate. :( I've never backed out of a bloghop before, but as you may have noticed, I've been kind of out of the blogging loop for a while and now I'm struggling to catch up! Please go and check out Emily and Melodie's hop, though - it's fun! :D NOW, onto GUTGAA! This amazing blogfest was put together by Deana Barnhart , and was designed to help writers in their quest to find an agent, plus help form connections between writers. The idea is genius and I am so excited to be a part of it! So, I am going to begin with the meet and greet questions, and I'll be hopping around to other blogs later! :D Bio : Kyra Lennon was born on the South coast of England, and to this day, still lives by the sea. It's here! WIP: The Movie!

I can't even tell you have excited I have been about this! It's early, so I have only got round to a few entries so far, but I am having a blast reading them all! Thanks to all who have participated, and of course, to my awesome co-host, Rachel ! It's time for me to introduce you to the characters from my - as yet untitled - WIP. When I first started this blog, my WIP was different, so this might confuse some of you (sorry about that!). This is Leah Walker, my MC. Technically, she is a little young, but she looks perfect! Leah is a physiotherapist for an American soccer team, but she is actually an English girl with a, let's say, colourful past. Radleigh McCoy is the ridiculously good-looking, not to mention exceptionally arrogant soccer player who challenges Leah in every way possible.  This is Freya Phillips. Freya is Leah's best friend and roommate. She works as a coach for the soccer team, and she is both very kind, and totally wild! Th...
