Showing posts with the label goals

I did it ... almost!

And so begins another week! How we are halfway through January already, I have no idea! Thanks to all of you for your input about editing Game On and re-writing If I Let You Go. I had a look back over Game On and it isn't half as bad as I thought it was. In my head, it's a big mess of horrendous word use and bad grammar. The reality is - it's actually pretty good. Well, I think so, anyway lol! So, I might just leave it be. But there will be more IILYG from the male POV soon-ish. Last week I set my first ever list of goals. Well, the first list I've ever made public, anyway. Here's what I achieved: Schedule all blog posts I have for other bloggers to promote/reveal covers so I don't have to do it at the last minute - DONE! Post prizes from Blindsided Blog Tour (Some have already gone out, but I still have more to do) All but one have been posted now. I should get to the last one this week. Write up guest post for Cassie Mae's blog and email it Do...

Trying something new

I often see people writing out their weekly or monthly goals on their blog, and it's a great idea. I've never done it before, but this week I REALLY need it. I've got a bunch of leftover stuff from last year I need to finish off, plus some new things to work on and if I don't write them down and make myself accountable - I might put it off forever! I doubt I'll make this a regular thing but when I really need to get my bum in gear, I will write out what needs to be done for everyone to see. Feel free to throw things at me next week if I haven't ticked most of it off! Schedule all blog posts I have for other bloggers to promote/reveal covers so I don't have to do it at the last minute Post prizes from Blindsided Blog Tour (Some have already gone out, but I still have more to do) Write up guest post for Cassie Mae's blog and email it Read a couple more chapters of The Fire In Fiction Finish Rouge by Leigh Talbert Moore - I'm nearly done, but...

W is for Will

My plan for the A - Z Challenge is to write every post as if it were a diary entry by a character from my WIP. Today's post comes from Freya Phillips. ** I like to think I've been pretty lucky with my friends. There have been a few girls who wanted to be my friend just because I work with sexy soccer players, but for the most part, my friends are genuine. Will is my best friend. I've known him for just over three years, and working with him has made my job one of the best I've ever had. He's funny, often unintentionally when he's stressing about some tiny thing that's out of place in his organised little world. He likes to be organised. But he makes me laugh every day. The thing I like the most about him is that he's loyal. He would literally do anything for his friends, and if someone crosses them ... well, it's not pretty. Let's just say I'd rather have him on my side than against me! He's not violent, or scary or anything. Bu...

Awards - Part Two

So, yesterday I wrote a REALLY long blog post giving out the Sunshine Award which I received from Tobi Summers and McKenzie McCann. When I woke up this morning, the post had vanished. This makes for a very unhappy Kyra! Even though my post disappeared somewhere in cyberspace, I wanted to show it off again! As it happens, I got given the award again, plus another award by the lovely Cassie (thank you!), so what I'm going to do is give both awards out now, just in case you missed them yesterday! Accepting the Sunshine Award means you have to answer the following questions: Favorite Color? Favorite Animal? . Favorite Number? Favorite (non-alcoholic) drink? Facebook or Twitter?  My passion?  Getting or Giving presents? Favorite pattern?  Favorite day of the week? Favorite flower?     Apologies if you missed my answers - I hate re-creating things! :p The other award I received was this: I r...
