I'm back!

Ah, how I've missed you all!

I have spent the last week or so recharging after all the Game On organisation. I cannot believe how much it took out of me to finish edits, let alone set up the blog tour! But, I am not going to bang on about that because no doubt you are all tired of it already! :p I will just say that during this week, the full list of stops and what you can expect will go up on the blog tour page so you can have a look at what I have in store.

The downside of taking time off is that I don't have a whole lot to talk about lol! But by the end of the week, I should be back in the writing groove and posting more regularly.

Before I go I want to wish good luck to everyone who is pitching in the YAtopia pitch contest today! Most especially to my best buddy Clare Dugmore. I will be cheering you all on!

Also, the amazing Jolene Perry has released her 876th book of the year (:p), Spill Over. I just started reading it last night and already, I'm hooked! The exceptional standard of Jolene's work always astounds me, so make sure you check it out!

So, what's everyone been up to? Have I missed any exciting news?

I'm so nervous for you lol!

Ah, Jolene is fabulous! But yes, my reading list is exceptionally long at the moment too. Need to stop adding to it!

    2. *hehe* Aww. <3 I'm not actually nervous now, but I was last night.

I have so many samples on my tablet it's untrue. I just added one of Jolene's too ... heh, and people said the Kindle would decrease reading.

  32. I totally missed this post, and like three people have said that they agree with Kyra on the 876th book of the year, so I finally googled it to see where on earth that came from lol.
    Thanks!

It's here! WIP: The Movie!

I can't even tell you have excited I have been about this! It's early, so I have only got round to a few entries so far, but I am having a blast reading them all! Thanks to all who have participated, and of course, to my awesome co-host, Rachel ! It's time for me to introduce you to the characters from my - as yet untitled - WIP. When I first started this blog, my WIP was different, so this might confuse some of you (sorry about that!). This is Leah Walker, my MC. Technically, she is a little young, but she looks perfect! Leah is a physiotherapist for an American soccer team, but she is actually an English girl with a, let's say, colourful past. Radleigh McCoy is the ridiculously good-looking, not to mention exceptionally arrogant soccer player who challenges Leah in every way possible.  This is Freya Phillips. Freya is Leah's best friend and roommate. She works as a coach for the soccer team, and she is both very kind, and totally wild! Th...

IWSG: Books Sales

IWSG time! I'd like to start by thanking Alex J. Cavanaugh for this fab bloghop, and today in particular, it is just the motivation I need to get me blogging again! Today, I'm talking book sales. Now, I don't really know if there is any kind of "average" amount of books sales when you're an indie author. I don't know what is considered a good amount of book sales per month, or whether I am doing better or worse than others. What I do know, is that I am happy with the amount of books I've sold. I self-published because I want people to read my work - and people are reading it - yay! My concern is - what if the sales stop? I know after a time, everyone's book sales will slow down, but I have this fear that I'll check my sales every couple of weeks to find that nobody cares about reading my books anymore. The dreaded 0 will show on my Kindle sales, and I will plummet into a pit of despair. It hasn't happened yet, but Game On has onl...

Camp NaNo Update, and details

To begin with, I want to say thanks again to Emily for allowing me onto her blog as a blogging mentor! Being interviewed is always fun, and Emily is awesome! So, to Camp NaNo! Four days in and I'm still on track! Well, I will be when I finish today's writing. :D I mentioned a while ago that I was planning to battle boy POV, and I'm doing my best to get through it. However, it is hard, so I decided to turn my NaNo story into dual POV so it will be 50% less difficult! I'm not against cheating to get the work done. :p Just to give you a quick recap on what I'm doing for NaNo: In Game On, I have a young soccer player named Jesse Shaw, and he proved quite popular during the A-Z challenge. So, I decided he needed his own spin-off story! It's set at the end of the soccer season, when Jesse and his best friend go to London. I don't have a proper synopsis yet, but this is my guideline for now Soccer sensation Jesse Shaw literally has the world at his fee...
