It’s here!!!! August 6th has
finally arrived, and it’s officially the start of the Game On Blog Tour! It’s
slightly astounding, terrifying, and exhilarating to be here on the launch of
my first ever novel and I honestly couldn’t have done it without all of you
amazing bloggers. Thank you so much, and I hope you enjoy the book, and the
next two weeks of Game On festivities!
We begin with the Team Leah/Team Radleigh
contest. I know some of you are well ahead of the game and caught my post at
the end of June, but if not, here are the details again:
It's up to you to decide whether you are on
Team Leah or Team Radleigh. When you have chosen, please display your graphic
of choice on the sidebar of your blog. Everyone who is a member of the winning
team by the end of the blog tour (August 19th 2012) will get an extra entry
into the Game On Blog Tour Prize Draw!
Prizes are:
1 x £20/$20 Amazon Gift Card
2 x £10/$10 Amazon Gift Cards
A piece of custom made jewellery (to be discussed when the winner is chosen)
Please leave a link to where your banner is
displayed in the comments section below to be counted.
Now, I know that not all of you will be
clued up on my characters just yet, especially those of you who didn’t see my
A-Z Challenge diary entries which showed off their personalities. Leah is my
MC, and the story is written from her POV. Radleigh is … well, let’s call him a
pain in the arse! So, to help you decide which team you fall on, I’m gonna show
you two of my most popular A-Z posts introducing you to both characters. :D

I really thought Bailey had learned his
lesson about hiring pretty girls. Sooner or later, they will end up in
my bed, and then he has to start all over again, finding someone new once they
get fired for breaking the rules. Must be exhausting.
The latest one arrived today. She's British, which right away, makes her interesting. I've slept with British girls before, and they're usually kinda ... reserved. Not this one. She's got fire in her eyes. She's tiny, only a little over five feet, I'd say. And smart. She didn't crumble like all the others when I spouted all the usual lines that make women forget their morals and drop their panties, so I guess she earned my respect. I'm not fooled though, I've never met a woman I couldn't charm. They're all the same, really. Throw around some compliments, flash the cash, wine them, dine them. They lap it up. Then, when it's all over, they get to make some extra cash by selling their story to the papers. Sex for me, money for them. It's a win-win.
British girl has more class than to go running to the papers. I can tell. But the rest of the story will be the same. I guarantee it.

I had the misfortune of meeting LA's answer
to Don Juan yesterday, except he has far less charm and an infinitely bigger
ego. Basically, what I'm trying to say is, he's a horny caveman. He tried to
club me over the head (offered me large amounts of wine) and drag me back to
his lair (offered to shag my brains out), and when I refused, he told me I was
playing hard to get!
Granted, a few years ago, a bit of harmless fun with an attractive guy is something I would have considered, but now? Now I am twenty-six years old and know better.
McCoy thinks I am in denial about how much I want him, which is funny, because I am pretty certain that I don't want him at all. Knowing he has rolled around on top of half the women in America isn't appealing to me, and besides, he is WAY off limits if I want to keep my job.
How unfortunate. I finally find the job of my dreams, but it comes with a side order of the man of my nightmares.
I guess I'll just have to suck it up (absolutely no pun intended) and hope that he gets the message. And soon.
