Purgatory Reign Book Summary:

My review
 
I really like it when I find a book I can't put down. Although it took some time to get into the story, once I was halfway through, I didn't want to stop reading until I reached the end because I had absolutely no idea where it was going - and that's always a good thing!

There were moments that felt rushed, most especially the romance angle, and parts that took a little too long to get to the point BUT overall, I really enjoyed reading about Peter's journey. He is one cool kid, and you can't help but root for him. His camaradarie with his friends provided some great moments and it will be interesting to see where the story goes next!

    Sounds like a great book! I'm always a little irritated when a romance in a book is rushed. I want it to linger a little and feel more real to me as the reader. :)

IWSG: Books Sales

IWSG time! I'd like to start by thanking Alex J. Cavanaugh for this fab bloghop, and today in particular, it is just the motivation I need to get me blogging again! Today, I'm talking book sales. Now, I don't really know if there is any kind of "average" amount of books sales when you're an indie author. I don't know what is considered a good amount of book sales per month, or whether I am doing better or worse than others. What I do know, is that I am happy with the amount of books I've sold. I self-published because I want people to read my work - and people are reading it - yay! My concern is - what if the sales stop? I know after a time, everyone's book sales will slow down, but I have this fear that I'll check my sales every couple of weeks to find that nobody cares about reading my books anymore.The dreaded 0 will show on my Kindle sales, and I will plummet into a pit of despair. Camp NaNo Update, and details

To begin with, I want to say thanks again to Emily for allowing me onto her blog as a blogging mentor! Being interviewed is always fun, and Emily is awesome! So, to Camp NaNo! Four days in and I'm still on track! Well, I will be when I finish today's writing. :D I mentioned a while ago that I was planning to battle boy POV, and I'm doing my best to get through it. However, it is hard, so I decided to turn my NaNo story into dual POV so it will be 50% less difficult!
