In the English society of 1768 where women are bred to marry, unattractive Alexia, just sixteen, believes she will end up alone. But on the county doorstep of a neighbor’s estate, she meets a man straight out of her nightmares, one whose blue eyes threaten to consume her whole world—especially later when she discovers him standing over her murdered host in the middle of the night.
Her
nightmares become reality: a dead baron, red-eyed wraiths, and
forbidden love with a man hunted by these creatures. After an attack
close to home, Alexia realizes she cannot keep one foot in her old life
and one in this new world. To protect her family she must either be sold
into a loveless marriage, or escape with her beloved and risk becoming
one of the Soulless.
This is the blurb for Crystal Collier's Moonless - doesn't it sound amazing?!
Today, to celebrate the paperback release of Moonless, Crystal is hosting a bloghop! Here are the deets:
If
you lived in a society where arranged marriages were a la mode, who
would you beg your parents to set you up with? (Literary characters and
celebrities welcomed.) Who and why?
Yup. Randy Orton. I have been a little bit in love with him for something like eight or nine years, and I'm not ashamed to admit, it's totally for shallow reasons. He is freaking beautiful. His lips... oh, don't get me started. If there was an option to marry him, I would seriously beg to be set up with him! I could very easily spend the rest of my life wrapped up in his tattooed arms! :p
The first thing I noticed about this picture was the arms too - is there room for both of us? :-)
ReplyDeleteThose arms are amazing, good choice. Excuse me while I go and find some more pictures ...
ReplyDeleteAt least this would be a man I wouldn't fight for... although, who knows what he's like if I started talking to him. Do you know if he's got a brain too? (of course I'm only joking. He's quite good looking just not the kind I'm usually attracted to)
ReplyDeleteArms used to really excite me, but now I've found that there are other things, too!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to Crystal and 'Moonless'.
LOL! My husband looked just like that when we got married, minus the tatoos, and with some hair. Kidding, kidding, but he did have the arms. Guess working outdoors can do that to a guy, eh?
ReplyDeleteI have a little thing for tattoos too. And hey, who knows, maybe after several hot nights in bed, you'll discover he's a great conversationalist too! :)
ReplyDeleteNo one would mess with you, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteRandy is a cutie, for sure!
ReplyDeleteOh, he's yummy! Best of luck with the book--it sounds great. :)
ReplyDeleteOoh Randy Orton...yummy. Those arms are quite squeezable.
ReplyDeleteHahaha!!!! I've never even heard of Randy... pretty funny, Kyra! And I love the cover of Moonless... it's absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of him, though I agree he does have nice arms.
ReplyDeleteDon't know him either but he looks good. Thanks for being the first comment on my post.
ReplyDeleteI don't know him, either! Looks as though those strong arms would be a good place to be, though! And, yeah, the lips are ok ;-) I'm into Jude Law's legs, myself. The hair's gone a bit peculiar, but the legs... mmm. Went to see him in Henry V in the West End on Saturday. Ooh, the legs. Did I already mention them?
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with him, but he is nice to look at!! I do love the muscled arms!!

I don't know who he is, but he certainly has nice muscular arms.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie Junebug
So you went for the bodaciously brawn. *wink* I hear ya, I hear ya! :-) I think you've made an excellent choice. I'm married so I just picked a writer. Ha.
ReplyDeleteI could totally understand enjoying that body :) Hmm, I'll bet he's even better without a shirt? ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't know who this guy is, but he sure is easy on the eyes :-)
ReplyDeleteHI, Kyra,
ReplyDeleteDropping in from the fest... New follower too... Ah, into the brawny guys I see...
Nothing like a strong pair of arms, right?
Man, what we dudes have to do to be noticed. LOL...
Congrats to Cyrstal.... And thanks for joining in on the fest!
I don't know who this guy is, but grrrrrr.
ReplyDeleteNice choice. I'm more of a John Cena fan, but he does have nice lips. ;)
ReplyDeleteDropping by for the Moonless Blogfest. New follower!
Is it sad that I'm loving this blog tour just because I can see everyone's choices? ;) Congrats again to Crystal!
ReplyDeleteOh...my...goodness... I totally agree with you in every way after seeing a picture. :)
ReplyDeleteHe does have nice lips! And he can't go wrong with those tattooed arms. ;)
ReplyDeleteYES! YES! YES! hehehehe... that was my WWE reference. I watch too, and have always liked him even before all the tattoos!
ReplyDeleteHe's quite a hunk. Kissable lips is a plus.
ReplyDelete......dhole
He certainly does have great guns! Good choice.
ReplyDeleteHe sure is nice to look at.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm.
Nice choice.
Heather
lol That was an unexpected answer. And I love it! It's nice to meet another wrestling fan, although my favorite is Jeff Hardy. But Randy certainly has a GREAT body! ;)
ReplyDeleteI am totally enjoying finding out what we various women like in a man. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteEep. I don't even know who he is, but he is quite the eye-candy.
ReplyDeleteHe sure does look strong. An added bonus, for sure. Why haven't I heard of him before? Maybe cuz I live in my writing cave and have no idea what goes on in the real world. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know who he is, but he looks damn fine! Noice choice :)
ReplyDeleteHah! I KNEW yours was going to be Randy. :D
ReplyDeleteI have been loving hearing everyone's answers to this question! So varied and different. Thanks for sharing and best of luck to Crystal!
