Blindsided Blog Tour Day 5 - A Blindsided Giveaway

Wow - one week down, one to go! I'm going to keep this brief today as it's Friday, but prepare yourself for next week because things are about to get a whole lot sillier LOL! :D I just have the one stop today, but it's a good one! Tiffany at Tiffany's Television Takedown is one of my best friends, and I met her through freelancing. Her blog is the home to her opinions on popular TV shows, but today she's letting me take over with a paperback giveaway of Blindsided! Go see her, and enter to win! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and thank you for sticking with me through the tour! Love ya!

Blindsided Blog Tour Day 4 - Excerpts and a Character Guest Post

Yup, the first week of the blog tour is almost over - how has that happened?! Time is flying by! Today on the tour I will be over at the hilarious Elizabeth Seckman's blog with an excerpt from Blindsided. And I'll also be with the wonderful Jenny Morris where you'll find a guest post from Isabelle's best friend, Willow. Want to hear something amazing and awesome? My novella, If I Let You Go has been ducking in and out of the Amazon.com Top 20 bestsellers for short stories since the weekend! It peaked at number 15 yesterday, and is clinging on at number 19 at the time of me writing this! I do intend to write another novella to follow it up, just because so many people wanted more from it. Not everyone realised it was a novella when they bought it, and it left some disappointed. So, I will be rectifying that by writing a bit more of Maddison, Dominic and Tilly's life - probably sooner rather than later. :D

Blindsided Blog Tour Day 3 - Christmas movies, Christmas Romance and a Christmas Photo

Good morning! Thanks so much to everyone who is stopping by all the blog tour stops - it's much appreciated!! Today I am with the always amazing, King of Ninjas, Alex J. Cavanaugh , talking about Christmas movie memories. I'd love to hear yours, so drop by and let me know! I will also be with Christine Rains , who is one of my favourite people EVER, and a kickass writer too!  Over at Christine's place, I'll be talking about the romance of Christmas - yeah, a little sappy, but that's what I do! :p Next, I promised a Christmas photo for the Blindsided Christmas Photo Hop !  Sorry the photo quality is terrible and my eyes are closed, I was in a bit of a hurry! See how easy it is? I have reindeer head boppers (which I bought on a whim while I was Christmas shopping because I'm dorky like that LOL!) and a silver tinsel scarf! That's it - that's all it needs. Just something festive and a bit silly. :D Come on guys ... you know you want to join i

Blindsided Blog Tour Day 2 - Photos and Christmas Traditions

Hi everyone! Thanks to all of you who stopped by yesterday, and visited Cassie and Leigh! Day 1 was definitely a success! Today I am over with my bestie, Clare Dugmore ! You guys met Isabelle yesterday, and today, she will be sharing some of her college work with you. Be kind to her, she's a little shy! ;) And I'm also talking Christmas traditions with Jackie Felger at Bouquet of Books . Jackie might just be the sweetest person I've met in the blogosphere, and I always love chatting with her. If you're not following her, go do it now! :D I know I promised to share my Christmas photo for the bloghop today, but yesterday kind of ran away from me, so it will be tomorrow! Have a great day!

Blindsided Blog Tour Day 1 - Meet the MCs!

Happy Monday everyone! I'm here to kick off the Blindsided blog tour - and possibly one of the silliest blog tours you will ever see in your lives LOL! We begin over at the gorgeous Cassie's Mae's place, with a deleted scene from the first chapter of the book which shows Jesse Shaw and his best friend on their way to London.  And later I'll be with the amazing and much missed Leigh Covington , where you can find an interview with the other MC of Blindsided, Isabelle Mills. Blindsided Synopsis: After a successful first soccer season in L.A, Jesse Shaw heads to London with his best buddy, Hunter, but his world is turned upside down when a dangerous prank threatens his career and his blossoming relationship with Hunter’s cousin, Isabelle. Isabelle Mills lives in Notting Hill with her parents and her twin sister, Georgia. When she finds out her cousin is coming to stay, along with his famous soccer player friend, her first instinct is to hibernate until they’

Is it that time already?

Good morning! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It was just your average Thursday over here in the UK, but I got a lot more work done because there were less people to distract me online lol! :p  I'm sure just a couple of days ago, it was November 1st and I was beginning my first real attempt at NaNo. Now it's November 23rd and the Blindsided blog tour starts Monday. MONDAY!! Thank you to everyone who will be hosting me over the next couple of weeks! I am really, really looking forward to getting some festive blog posts out there. You should be warned - this tour is packed with Christmas silliness with the intention of getting everyone in the mood for the season. I did serious stuff last time, and I thought everyone could use something a bit more lighthearted at this time of year! This brings me back to the pimping of my Blindsided Christmas photo contest. I knew there was a chance it might be ab epic fail - and as I have only 6 participants, and one of them is m

A glimpse inside my NaNo novel!

So, since NaNo started, I haven't really said much about what I'm writing or kept you up to date on how it's going! Well, it all got off to a slow start, followed by a few days where I completely fell in love with the story and was writing at a fast pace. Now, I'm slowing down a little because I made the terrible mistake of looking at what I'd written. I know, I know, bad Kyra! What I have isn't awful, but it is NA that reads like YA. I'm pretty sire I can fix that, though so it's not a disaster. The reason I haven't said a whole lot about the story itself is mainly because I'm not sure what the main plot point will be. I mentioned the MC is a virgin, but it's rather more complicated than that and I haven't figured out which thread of the plot I'm going to work with. Oh dear, I'm getting as cryptic as Mark Koopmans and his mysterious bloghop! :p Anyway, I was recently tagged (again) in the Look meme that was going around a
